Solution Architect (Australia)

Pillar Security is looking for a customer-facing Solution Architect to support enterprise customers across Australia. You will partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to design secure AI adoption strategies, demonstrate Pillar's platform, and ensure successful deployment for organizations building and using GenAI applications.

• Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers.
• Design AI security architectures aligned with customer environments.
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Integrate Pillar with cloud platforms, identity providers, SIEM, and AI ecosystems.
• Advise customers on AI security, governance, compliance, and best practices.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to communicate customer requirements and influence the roadmap.
• Support strategic sales opportunities as the trusted technical advisor.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or Security Architect.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with enterprise security technologies, including IAM, SSO, SIEM, EDR, API security, and DLP.
• Familiarity with LLMs, AI applications, AI agents, and GenAI security concepts.
• Excellent customer-facing presentation and communication skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers throughout the pre-sales and onboarding lifecycle.
• Ability to travel within Australia as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cybersecurity or AI security platforms.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
• AWS, Azure, GCP, CISSP, or similar certifications.
• Experience working with enterprise customers in financial services, government, or regulated industries.

Location: Australia (Sydney or Melbourne preferred), with hybrid work and regional customer travel.
